Rick graduated from Pittsburgh Theological Seminary on May 25, 2006. He began serving our church as a post-graduate student intern on October 1, 2006. He was ordained as a Minister of the Word and Sacrament on April 29, 2007, at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church in Berea, Ohio, by the Presbytery of the Western Reserve.
Rick and his wife, Mary, live in Berea, OH. They have been married 29 ½ years and have three adult children - Kenny, Shelby, and Stacey. They also have two granddaughters, Ashley (age 17) and Bailey (age 11) and three grandsons, Owen (4 year old), Ian (3 years old), and Ben (3 months).
Rick had worked at various jobs before acknowledging God’s call to ministry at the age of 51. He is excited about his call at First United Presbyterian Church as the church begins their second hundred years of service to our Lord in 2007.
